Perform a Guest Restore

The Guest Restore feature allows you to go to another PRO Client computer to which you are backing up and restore files from it. You can see your destinations on the Destinations tab in PRO Client.

You will need the user's account password, private password, or the encryption key. Be sure you are familiar with Archive Encryption Key Security before you start restoring data.

1. From the destination client, choose the Backup tab.
2. Click the source's name under Backup Sources.
3. Click Restore Files….
4. When prompted, enter the information for the account owner of the source computer.
   For example, if the owner of the source computer uses “account password” as the encryption key policy, you'll be prompted for the user's account password.
5. Choose the files to restore.
6. (optional) Select any restore options.
7. Click Restore.
